| Remarks | Art 201 INOX uses AISI 316, the molybdenum in AISI316 made the outdoor shower column super resistance to chlorides. The chromium oxide layer will continue to reform and protect the stainless steel surface as long as there is sufficient chromium present. Rust on stainless steel 304 and 400 series stainless steel are caused by free elemental iron residue coming into contact with the surface. Free iron that was left on the surface will eventually rust. |
