| Remarks | Rust on stainless steel 304 and 400 series stainless steel are caused by free elemental iron residue coming into contact with the surface. Free iron that was left on the surface will eventually rust. L00831 uses AISI 316, the molybdenum in AISI316 made the outdoor shower column super resistance to chlorides. The chromium oxide layer will continue to reform and protect the stainless steel surface as long as there is sufficient chromium present. The biggest enemy of any outdoor shower malfunctioning is sloppy installation practices - by what gets left in a pipe that eventually choke the piping system or cause leakage. So clean out the pipe before buttoning them up. |
