Making press joint is simple but doing everything correctly is very essential to ensure leakage free and avoid malfunction:
To perform a proper pressing:
1 Ensure sufficient battery charge
2 Ensure jaws are not worn out or damaged
3 Regular machine calibration
4 Proper maintenance
5 Ensuring pipe end is free of burrs or sharp cutting edges
6 Ensure pipe is round
7 Flush away sands or sediments before connecting the gate valve
